Abundant Bee Beauty - How It Started
Honestly, if you were to tell me over 4 years ago that I would be running my own beauty business and going LIVE on Facebook to do my makeup for the people of good ol FB.... NOPE, it ain't gonna happen!!!

I'll set the stage... it was 2018 and I had just broken my ankle and was now at home on disability for the next 12 weeks. (I super wish that I had the knowledge and drive that I have now of online businesses and blogging, I would be so far along right now!)

My friend Cate had been selling makeup online and like all marketers was trying to get me to join her company with her. I had been using the products and liked them so I thought "Why not, it will give me something to do for the next 12 weeks.". So I took the plunge and signed up with Younique.
At the time they were only a few years old as a company and not that many products existed. I was learning to be bold and just put myself out there (NOT a trait that I had in the past).
Diving Right In
Since I had some of the makeup already I decided to "GO LIVE" for the first time on FB. So with my casted leg elevated on the couch and my phone propped up by books on an end table and absolutely the worst lighting possible, I did my first LIVE video. OH BOY! I truly wish I still had a copy of it. It would be funny to watch. I kept doing it and going LIVE almost everyday. I quickly built a little audience and support network.

For me this has NEVER EVER been about becoming rich or retiring from my job. It's been to build who I am and my self confidence (which I really felt was not there). I couldn't believe that I was actually doing it and going LIVE for people. Quickly I fell into a grove all was going great.

I love the product and enjoy the network and love help others feel great about themselves! That will never stop in me.
